News - Michelle Mone - £60 Million Contract with Tesco

ULTIMO lingerie boss Michelle Mone has signed a £60m deal with Tesco to create £40 silk bras at a fraction of the cost.

The new underwear range, called the Diamond Boutique collection, will see bras priced at £14 and thongs starting at just £7.

They will go on sale later this month at selected stores across the UK.

Mone said: "The styling and quality of the fabrics will not be compromised at all. But when you're talking about the volumes we'll have in Tesco, you can get incredible deals on fabrics."

Tesco clothing chief Terry Green said: “The new brand will offer everything a designer label does in terms of quality, design and fit but at Tesco prices.”
