News - Sir Ranulph Climbs again for Marie Curie Cancer Care

Following Sir Ranulphs successful Eiger Challenge for Marie Curie Cancer Care in 2007 which raised £1.8 million, Sir Ranulph will be making an attempt on Everest (his first from the Southern Route) in April this year.

Sir Ranulph said: “In April 2008 I will be climbing Everest for Marie Curie Cancer Care. One of my personal goals is to raise a total of £15 million for charity in my lifetime. During my Everest climb I’m hoping to raise £3 million for Marie Curie’s innovative Delivering Choice Programme."
